Task: You will receive an intercultural case study for this assignment. This time you must complete a full Intercultural Management Analysis (IMA) consisting of the following components:

1) MBI Analysis (20%, 700-900 words)
– Using the MBI model template provided, complete a cultural analysis of the issue at hand.
– This section is limited to 800 words or a maximum of 4 pages*.

2) EXCELL Cultural Interaction Map (5%, 150- 200 words)
– Using the EXCELL model template provided, complete a cultural interaction map for your identified social competency or competencies (i.e. seeking information or help; making social contact; participating in a group; expressing disagreement; refusing a request; giving feedback).
– This section is limited to 150-200 words or a maximum of 1 page*.

3) Personal Reflection (5%, 300-400 words)
One of the objectives of this Unit is “to focus on understanding oneself and one’s approach to decision making and problem solving as a critical step in developing the interpersonal skills needed to work successfully in different cultural settings.” (See “Unit Description”).
– Put yourself in the shoes of the main character (person) in this case
– What have you learned about yourself that would have been a strength/weakness if you were in this case?
– What has this case highlighted about the interpersonal skills you believe are needed to work successfully across cultures?
– Reflect on what you have learned thus far about intercultural issues in Management, and the process of doing an IMA as part of decision-making/problem solving an intercultural business issue.
